Detulux 51 - Carnival of Rust

For most Detulux comics, I aim to complete them over the course of a week. For this one, it took two. That's because I added a load of stuff to the script for this one after adding the Ferris wheel to Episode 49. That, it seemed that cutting the comic into two would have rendered it about as entertaining as filler. This comic shows what Lord Saddler, er, I mean Burdener was missing on his island.

To understand most of the obscure references in this episode, you'll probably need to watch this awesome [link] music video for the Poets of the Fall song "Carnival of Rust". But wait! I know what you're thinking: "Sean, this is a music link that is way too cool for your geekiness!" But it's alright! Poets of the Fall (POTF to the fans) did the ending song for the video game Max Payne 2, so now you know. Seriously, this band is excellent, they've released two albums (to much acclaim in Finland and Germany) and I swear these guys can't sing/play a duff note. Find out more at [link]
